Santa and the reindeer are in town again. This is a lovely event and a great chance to have a free day out for the whole family. Free tea, coffee and craft activities and events. See you there!

We had a right royal time!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Jubilee Street Party. It was a really special occasion and it was great to spend this time together.

GENERAL MEETING THURSDAY 19 MAY

 

FANTASTIC FORSYTH GARDENS featuring THE BIG DIG

Wow!
We came, we got together and we gardened!
We had glorious weather for our Getting-Involved-Grant-funded THE BIG DIG.

The day in statistics:
32 volunteers;
Aged from 3 up to.....?!?;
6 dogs;
22 sandwiches;
14 kitkats;
8 penguin biscuits;
16 bags of crisps;
3 litres of pop;

3 cartons of juice;
2 flasks of coffee;
4 new beds dug, and planted with each group creating their own planting plan;
4 existing beds weeded and brought back to life;
3 wildflower beds sown with bee-friendly plants;
1 epic community brought together.

Well done everyone - you are amazing!

THE BIG DIG

Funding for this community get-together has come from the Getting Involved Grant from Southwark Council. The funding has provided plants, some gardening gloves and tools so that everyone can join in. There will be refreshments to be enjoyed together afterwards to reward us for our hard work. See you there!
