LOCAL EVENT FOR RESIDENTS & CHILDREN!!! COME ALONG!! TBC September 2014
Hello everyone!
As reported on our blogspot below - we have secured grant funding for a
'greening' projecting involving 5 large oak planters full of wonderful
plants and shrubs to transform the Churchward House area (between
Lorrimore Road and Lorrimore Square) in a beautiful welcoming green area. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS & SUPPORT!!!
There have been similar parties and locals have volunteered with great success.
We have some funds to provide some food and soft drinks and some events but need more support.
Can anyone help with:-
- BBQ hire
- Bouncy Castle Hire
- Face Painting
- Steel Band/ Music/ Entertainment
- Clay Modelling (this was a great success with the children carried out by Sue!)
- Raffle Prize Donation
- Cake Baking/ Bring Your Own food
- Speaking to local businesses/ schools/ nurseries for support
