Didn't we have a lovely time 🎵 - TRA Trip to SOUTHEND-ON-SEA

What a lovely time we had on our TRA day trip to Southend-on-Sea.

We had:

60 residents from our TRA area on our coach;
Teenagers on scary rides (AXIS sent you round-and-round-and-upside-down!);
OAPs enjoying the discounted cod special;
4 generations of one family;
Loads of seaside fun!

MEETING POINT for the SOUTHEND-ON-SEA DAYTRIP

TRA SUMMER PARTY WAS HOT HOT HOT!!! - Saturday 12th July 2025

This year the summer party was very, very hot . We bought some sun screen, put together some water activities and put up as much shade as we could.

Everyone who attended had a great time, and there were even some leftover burgers for people to take home for family BBQs the next day.

TRA trip to the seaside - SOUTHEND ON SEA - Saturday 16th August 2025

It is many years since we have run a trip to the seaside. It is a great chance to spend time together and have a cheap day out with neighbours and friends. We have been awarded funding by Southwark Council and will use that to go towards the coach and towards entry tickets for Adventure Island.

WATERING BUDDIES - our beautiful planters need water and TRA residents rise to the occasion!

Most of our planted areas have been developed to improve the area by deterring fly-tipping. It is the TRA's job to maintain the planters by coming together for gardening days. We also need watering buddies in the summer when we have an extended period of dry weather. Do get in touch if you would like to get involved!

GETTING COLOURFUL IN LORRIMORE SQUARE - May half-term 2025

A group of young people from our TRA met over the half-term holiday in Lorrimore Square to paint the name of the square onto large wooden letters. It was lovely weather and the workers were rewarded with a pizza lunch. Perhaps we could do another area of the TRA next time. Any thoughts?
