ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS! OUR 4th FREE COMMUNITY SUMMER FETE!

WHAT A GREAT DAY!!

To all the local tenants, residents and children who turned out for our 

4th Annual FREE Summer Fete on 14th July 2018!

It was a brilliant day with good weather and plenty of food.  Lots of fun activities, games and great company!

To all the TRA committee, members and volunteers, to Southwark Borough Council, Rev. Katy of St Paul's Church - for making this event possible and for helping to make this another FUN day for everyone!! 

And to Endurance Steel Orchestra for their 

modern upbeat music to help brighten up the day!

Summer Fete and Christmas Fair dates Announced!

Surrey Gardens TRA are very pleased to announce the following events this year in 2018:

***SUMMER FETE ***

Saturday 14th July 2018

12:00 - 16:00

Our FREE annual community summer fete will return again for another year of fantastic music, BBQ, face painting, bouncy castle and lots of other fun activities.  

We are also trying to organise a very special addition to this event 

so watch this space and the local notice boards for updates!

***CHRISTMAS FAIR***

Saturday 15th December 2018

Due to resounding success of the 2017 fair in conjunction with St Paul's Church, we will be holding another fantastic fair with stalls and activities.

12:00 - 16:00

OUR FANTASTIC COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS FAIR 2017 WITH ST PAUL'S CHURCH

For the first year, the TRA in conjunction with St Paul's Church held a free community Christmas fair on 

Saturday 16th December 2017

****  The event was a fantastic success!  ****

The live Reindeer, Buddy and Cracker, were absolutely superb!  Everyone loved to see them in real life and they were very well cared for and enjoyed being fed lichen! 

We also had a special guest appearance from our resident Santa Claus!  

There were many stalls and activities to chose from and the best thing about it all was that so many people of all ages from our amazing community came together and enjoyed a festive hot drink and snack in the warmth of our lovely local church.

Thank you so very much to all who came along, to those who set up stalls and especially to everyone who volunteered and help made the day a really special treat. 
And a special thanks to St Paul's Church!
